		Looking after your pearls
		Pearls are affected by cosmetics, scents, hairspray and creams, all of which tend to build up over time. Conctact between pearls and the substance should be avoided. Surface dirt and grime will obscure the natural lustre of yours pearls. To keep them looking shiny, wipe them regularly with a damp cloth.
Never use any kind of cleaning solution on your pearls as this may tarnish the surface of the pearl and affect the silk which links the pearls together. To protect your pearls from scratches, keep them separate from diamonds and other hard jewels in your jewellery box. Pearls necklaces are strung with a silk thread, finely knotted between each pearl to protect them from rubbing against each other. Constant wear weakens the silk so it may be advisable to have your pearl restrung every year. In line with Haute Couture requirement we will be happy to fit your necklace or bracelet wether it is one or multiple rows, to our size. According to your wishes, fashion or season our "master restringer" will restring your pearls to perfection.
